At Pippin, our aim is to support as many families as possible.
One of the ways we do this is by partnering with Speech and Language Therapists and professionals working in the Early Years Sector.
Today, we’re delighted to introduce to you one of our many Speech and Language Therapy Partners, Jen Moore.
We had a quick chat with Jen to learn a bit more about her, and what it is about Pippin that makes her so happy to recommend it to the families she works with.
Business name: Bee Connected SLT. I’m a SLT working in North Devon. You can find out more about me on my website and give me a follow on social media
How long have you been an SLT?: I have been practicing Speech and Language Therapy for nearly 15 years! Having worked for most of my career in the NHS I have taken the leap into Private practice and haven’t looked back since.
What’s your main interest in SLT?: My main interest is nothing fancy – speech and language delays/disorders! I love working with parents to help them feel in control and empowered to create change in their child’s communication.
What do you love about being an SLT?: There are so many things to love about being a SLT but I love creating a relationship with the families and children I work with and getting creative with therapy sessions. Last week I was making potions in a therapy activity!
What do you think about Pippin? Having worked alongside Kate to help create the content for Pippin I can say with certainty, as a fellow Speech and Language Therapist, it has my stamp of approval! Having evidence based, core communication strategies all in one place creates a fantastic resource for parents to tap into. Whether that’s as a first port of call, a refresher or a stop gap while you’re waiting for more tailored interventions; it provides so many easy to follow activities and ideas for your little ones.
We hope to see you in the app, soon.
